I have realised since my return to zombie escape there are a fare amount of people that don't know what class to pick or what weapons to utilise properly , this guide should clarify everything.

In zombie escape there are 3 main classes you usually go to defend. Heavy/Engineer/Pyro.

- Heavy , general tanks that can stand there ground and produce massive amount of knock back this helps humans keep zombies away from there team. The key load-out you would want to go for heavy in this specific mode is -Houo long heater , panic attack , gloves of running urgently. The houo long heater is basically another chance you get to live, when zombies come close to you during loading up the weapon it turns them on fire and pushes them upwards preventing them from walking directly to you. Panic attack , if you are running and you don't have time to load up the Houo long heater just bring out the panic attack with the 50% deployment and hit the zombie chasing you with a quick knock back shot. Gloves of running urgently , everyone knows heavy has the worse mobility in the game using the gloves of running urgently makes your heavy run faster allowing you to run to areas at the same rate as a pyro I think.

- Pyro , his useful and efficient for making enemies slower during runs , you would usually want to light up a couple zombies on fire before you run to the next point just to allow your team to get a advantage with escaping. Lighting up zombies will make them jump constantly with the after burn and generally make zombies slower. Your main load-out would be the -Phlogistinator you can charge this up really quick with this mode there's basically nothing called waiting in this mode since all the zombies are usually bundled up together taunting will allow crits and using this on zombies will make them not move pretty much. - Scorch shot you have a higher radius with this flare gun so don't worry if you have bad aim just shoot somewhere close around the ground of the zombie and you should be able to still charge up your Phlog , using this flare gun will also make zombies jump up but for a short amount of time causing them to move slower. -Power jack , this lets pyros run quicker and overall increase there mobility. (Any melee in this mode that would give you more speed or an extra jump should always be used due to some zombies being "Alpha zombies" this makes them run quicker then even scouts.

- Engineers , another class used for defence and making zombies slower. This class will usually try place sentries in-between runs this give those extra seconds that humans can have for escaping that zombies cannot. For defence very overpowered in my opinion placing a sentry near any area where you have to jump will never let a zombie go threw that point, it's practically a aimbot machine that you can rely on without controlling it. The load-out for the engineer would be , stock shotgun it's knock back is balanced and should be utilised correctly during running times when looking back. Stock pistol not really anything interesting with the stock pistol no rewarding abilities or good knock back , bad defence but it's just something that your going to have to deal with. -Gunslinger , builds sentries quicker something you would need in tight maps such as ze_timesplitters or ze_vooodooo_island.

Point farming classes, this is going to be quite short since there are not a lot of point farming classes you could rely on except 3.

Demoman , placing traps with the sticky launcher at every zombie teleportation point, quick and easy damage. damage = points incase you don't know. Loose cannon hitting double doinks has high damage per second I use this method with demoman very reliable. I once hit 250 score with demoman on ze_time_splitters

Soldier , buff banner gives the humans around you mini crates i don't know why but this somehow gives you score the more damage your team produces during the buff banner being enabled.

Heavy , if you are in a session with only 2 other people just bring out the brass beast and you can kill one of them very quickly. Kills on zombies gives you points. Also Zombies killing humans gives you points.

The maps to go for if you want to point farm

- Ze_time_splitters
- Ze_vooodooo_island
- Ze_Atix helicopter
- Ze_Atix (the other version which i forgot what it's called xd)
- Ze_Duality (this map is quite of a challenge)

Well designed maps just cause why not

ze_ bathroom
ze_minecraft_adventure
ze_UTC_Convoy
ze_Time_splitters
ze_Lotr_mines - (Both versions)

Yes in zombie escape there is a rank system where you get ranked from the total amount of points you have in total. You compete with thousands of other people and the more points you can rack up the higher your ranking is. This rank is a number so like #24 out of #25670 players. Im currently around 800 and its not easy to get under 100 its a grind.
