average reaction time is ~200 milliseconds
if you have a ping of 100 milliseconds, then your input will come out half the reaction time of when you initially activated said input
if you have a ping of 200 milliseconds, you are never winning first reaction last reaction

now do you see how impactful this is?
if you dont; by the time you jumped or crouched someone already did because of that 100 millisecond disadvantage you were put on, you basically now have a reaction time of 200 + your ping
