Accepted Banned for having "Duplicate Accounts"

I was going to play on a zombie escape server but when joining a message popped up saying that I was banned. In response to this, I viewed the banned list to see that my account was banned for being a duplicate account. The thing is that I do not have a duplicate account. Since my account is not affiliated with the duplicated account I believe that I should be unbanned.

Not when I play games but it is possible that Hotspot Shield turned itself on after an update, it does that from time to time

That seems to be what happened here. Your account was connected to banned accounts via. an IP under your VPN.

Appeal accepted. Though, please be more careful next time.
