Due to Covid-19, we are looking at delays to the return of the Bleach anime franchise, which maybe late next year or beyond, which is going to at least cover the final arc that never got animated: the Thousand Year Blood War (TYBW) also known as "The Quincy Blood War". It's to finish off the Bleach series and give it a fitting farewell for it's 20th anniversary, even if the ending was rushed and poor in quality. I can't wait!
However, in the meantime, this august we are looking at a Burn The Witch movie with the manuscript and story written by Tite Kubo himself, which is a spin-off series set in the bleach universe, with an anime series of that to follow in the future.
Instead of shinigami vs hollows in the Soul Society or Japan, it's a race of spiritually aware humans that live in London, known as Wizards (he)/Witches (she) who are members of the "Wing Bind" tribe that use special spell guns and broomsticks to contain dragons for conservation, as well as to use them for research and resources in a shadow realm known as "Reverse London", where the dragons are placed to prevent them causing harm to regular London residents, who are unable to see dragons, hollows or other spirits.
