whenever the creeper is blowing up or about to blow up i get this error message shown in the screenshot at a incredibly fast rate until i get a crash with the message screenshotted.

Any fixes to this?. And in general i crash alot on the minecraft maps and the spacejail map due to memory related issues. Pc specs

I5 7500 cpu non OC
16 gigs of ddr4 at 2133 mhz
Kingston SSD with 223 gigs of memory
Gtx 1060 6gb factory OC
Think that should be all the relevant info. Does anyone have a fix to this ?.

while a fix is pending, extract these files in your /tf folder and it should be fixed

A fix is to disable HTML MOTD, as there’s known to be a memory leakage issue coming from ads displayed on Wonderland.
Fix #2 is to go into /tf/sound/ and delete the sound.cache file. I did that once when I was constantly crashing on the jail_minecraft_dynf_v10d, and it stopped me from crashing for a while.

How to disable HTML MOTD: Advanced > Scroll down to “Disable HTML MOTDs.” (Near bottom) > Check the box > Click APPLY > Select OK

I, too, have been experiencing the same issue as you are. I’ve just recalled that someone had reported it ages ago and I hadn’t realized until now that they had a provided a fix for the “Out of memory or address space.” problem.

Forum post going in-depth of the issue and fix: https://wonderland.tf/threads/advertisement-memory-leak.3095/

Apologies for the late post, I’ve just now remembered that the above thread exists. I will make an edit later to test if it’s working or not.

EDIT: Surprisingly, it does work! Whenever I did have HTML MOTD enabled, the steamwebhelper.exe application would constantly spike up to 500,000 kB, and sometimes it worsened to 1,000,000+ kB. Eventually, after an hour or two spent on Wonderland servers, the game would crash for me and would give me the same message as you. Also, there is no stutter after prolonged gameplay of TF2 (tested it for 30 min to an hour), and looks like it's not going to crash anytime soon.
