TF2 Out of memory on your fav server/map?

While this mostly happens on certain maps, this is not a 100% guaranteed fix as it might happen again, it might as well be your video settings causing this.

Spoiler: How to navigate towards your TF2 installation folder

Right-click on TF2 on your Steam Library and press Properties
A new window pops up, press the Local Files tab
Then press Browse Local Files... tab

Head over to your Team Fortress 2 directory and delete the following files;

• Team Fortress 2\tf\sound\sound.cache
• Team Fortress 2\tf\download\sound\sound.cache

Start TF2 and monitor your task manager for any fluctuating RAM usage on hl2.exe.

Usually happens when a map has broken .mp3 files, which tf2 fails decode properly
