How about we create a ctf/payload/cp server in which you are a subclass of a class up against another subclass of any other or the same class selected at random. Other items which are not subclassed out are either default or disabled as deemed appropriate.
Class Wars is a very popular community gamemode, and taking a new spin on it could draw in a large base of fans as well as creating new ones two.
It has a very good potential to draw many people to the server and increase the chances that they'll join the community. This would increase potential traffic, and increase revenues from ads and donations as a result.
Potential examples include:
Backburner Pyro vs Vaccinator Medic.
Gunslinger Engineer vs Deadringer Spy.
Machina Sniper vs Force-a-Nature Scout.
Beggars Bazooka Soldier vs Quickiebomb Launcher Demoman.
Tomislav Heavy vs Crusaders Crossbow Medic.
