I'm sure most of you have seen this trend: Disney remaking old, animated films like The Lion King, Aladdin, and most recently Mulan in live-action. I guess people must find this cool or interesting, since this has been going on for a while, so I want to hear what you guys think.

Personally, I have no interest in Disney. If anything, I dislike them, but that's another story for another time. I could easily bash these for being cash-grabs, but remakes of older films have always been around so whatever.

Disney remakes are (not totally) bad. I don't like them. I was watching Aladdin with my niece the other day and the only fascinating factors about it was the CGI, animation style, beams and particles which makes it so 'lively'. Disney's main target are kids but for live actions, grownups are getting easily attracted.
Dumbo is just dumb and the idea of having a "The Lion King" movie remake should've been forgotten in the jungle.

Now speaking of remakes, I've seen industries making remakes of anime and video games
I do like Youtube videos YouTubers put an effort to make, but not a whole God damn movie about it.
I've seen remakes like Resident Evil, "Death note", Tekken, Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia. Those craps doesn't even follow the story-line.
Western adaptations of Anime series are just terrible. Seriously, porn parodies are better than that.

The only live-action video (not movie) I always loved is probably this, about FC3:
