Accepted 1 day Ban for homophobic slur

and I retorted how backward it is to use that word in this day and age

I apologize if I offended anyone, but it's strange how the server still somehow has that slur as a buyable tag in the store but bans people for saying it. It shouldn't be appropriate to use it or buy it in the first place.

I think the tag should be gotten rid of now that we're talking about it.

The tag was long-since removed from the store, around the same time we started enforcing against it. Have you seen it in the store recently?

That's actually really good to hear. I'll serve out the ban if that's the best call, I only remember seeing it on someone weeks ago.

I have decided to unban you and instead give you a 1-day silence. While you did use the f-slur, I can see that you didn't use it with malicious intent. As you have no history of hate speech, I'll be more lenient.

The silence is going to be around four hours longer than your ban would've been due to when I placed it (and not having the ability to make it 20 hours or so on the SourceBans website). If you wish to have it removed around the time you would've been unbanned (~1-1:30 a.m. EST), feel free to contact any staff member with the link to this appeal.
