It was removed because a majority of the players hated it so much. Plus it provided an unfair advantage to those in certain gamemodes like Jb and its hide and seek.
I do remember b-hop back in the days but I felt like it was more of a disadvantage to its user specially scouts since you weren't able to double jump while having it equipped
